I was in San Francisco and an internship had opened my eyes to what my art career would *really* be like (in a cubicle, no windows, no creative freedom…depressing!). I was distraught. I thought about how I wasted thousands on an education. My family, friends and boyfriend were across the country. I was exhausted and I had NO CLUE what to do with my life.

I must have shown how awful I felt, because a homeless man, dressed in rags and pushing all his belongings in one cart, stepped towards me as I walked by. With a huge smile on his face, he leaned toward me and said, “Cheer up! Life can’t be that bad!”

Changed my perspective for life  Just goes to show, you don’t need money, fame or power to make a difference in someone’s life. Hope you all have a day filled with happiness despite the hardships you face
